Kjersti began writing prose in earnest in 2026. Here is a list of her short stories published or upcoming in literary magazines and reviews.

Kjersti writes speculative fiction, including dystopian and utopian fiction, magical realism, and slipstream. She is working on her first novel.

Her nonfiction writing explores the underrepresented voices and ideas giving shape to what we value in the face of political, economic, social, and environmental change and upheaval.
